UCPA Tignes

Centre moderne, très bien situé à seulement 5 minutes à pied des remontées mécaniques, les chambres sont à l'étroit comme prévu mais disposent d'un espace de rangement décent. La nourriture est excellente, comme dans n'importe quel autre UCPA - un restaurant à volonté trois fois par jour. La seule déception était le petit-déjeuner qui était essentiellement une fausse omelette et pas grand-chose d'autre. Le personnel était également très gentil et semblait beaucoup plus détendu que d'autres que j'ai connu.

Trois séjours consécutifs au ski. Un régal. Très bonne ambiance. Très bien servi. De belles pistes à n'en plus finir. Parfait.

Came here twice (Dec 2019 and Apr 2023) for week-long ski trips. Great value for money, food is good, and accommodation is decent albeit small. Appreciate the free stretching classes and afternoon snacks.

Downsides: The equipment this round seems to be older. The ski room was sometimes smelly and we had to walk up to 10 mins to the slopes which can be tiring.

This place is the best way to experience ski or snowboard as a traveler. It's like an all-inclusive holiday where you don't have to worry about anything. You get meals three times a day plus a snack time and there's usually fun events or entertainment every night. All the gear is included and you get lessons half it full time depending on the package you selected. The ski pass is also included which makes it amazing value! I had lots of fun and was very exhausted too! The only downside is the rooms are a bit small and tight but you'll only be there to sleep and the wifi was really really slow!

I had "Ski Pack Plein-temps" with UCPA Argentière-Chamonix. However, I was injured in a fun park where the UCPA teacher took us and it is not supposed to be part of the lesson since we had no prior training for the fun park. To me, it is 80% the responsibility of UCPA and the teacher of this accident. I had full trust in the teacher therefore I went through the park then I broke my pelvis and back. I was directly sent to the emergency from the slopes. I might be able to walk normally anymore and my pelvis might not be strong enough to be pregnant. (I am 29 years old female who is not married nor having any kid)

After the accident, no one from UCPA contacted me or cared about my injury in the hospital at all. I even contacted my roommate in UCPA to reach out to UCPA's local reception but no success. They refuse to even send my remain belongings to the hospital (My passport/wallet/ laptop etc.)

To be honest I am disappointed with how UCPA handled the lesson, accidents, and the members. I booked UCPA because my friend recommended to me. I can not believe that with this poor management, UCPA has so a high rating. Why?

I have been trying to contact UCPA customer service, and this doesn't go through either. A matter of fact, I know that I am not the only case. There are more cases and accidents that happened but UCPA did not help any of them.

Please reconsider your selection for UCPA since you will need to rely on yourself if anything happens.

Pour mon premier UCPA, c’est vraiment une très très belle expérience que je souhaiterais refaire tous les ans! L’équipe du staff est vraiment top! Toujours disponible et à l’écoute! Merci encore à Marion, Fabien, Boris, Mehdy et tous les autres bien entendus.
Les chambres sont petites, mais pour le peu de temps qu’on passe à l’intérieur.

Pour l'instant mon stage part mal, a voir pour le restant de la semaine, mais ca va etre compliqué. Ras pour le reste.

Perfect cheap ski holiday, plenty of good food, equipment and lessons adequate, staff all friendly and helpful. 10 min walk to lifts. Rooms are compact.

First, I really appreciate that week I have been there 12/2-18/2 2023. Everything is fine. Everyday is full of pleasure.

And what I really want to do is leaving a message to Antonie:

It’s a pity that I met you at the last day. We didn’t talk too much, we didn’t spare too much time together and I even don’t have your contact way.

But whatever, if I could be more brave that day, I just willing to say:

Un centre tout neuf avec une qualité d'enseignement digne des meilleurs! L'animation est au top encadrée par de supers animateurs! On y mange très bien avec beaucoup de facilité pour se faire des pique nique pour une journée complète sur les pistes. Je recommande vivement et j'y reviendrais!

On y mange très bien les repas proposés sont variés bravo au chef et à l'équipe de restauration. Chambres convenable. Propreté à revoir (couverture qui devrait aussi être lavé car trace de sang malgré la housse de couette et draps propre) moniteur sympathique équipe jeune. Bonne Ambiance dans l'ensemble.
