La Mascotte Montmartre Rue des Abbesses

Un fantastique restaurant de fruits de mer avec la qualité que vous attendez à Paris, mais comme il n'est pas en plein centre, vous n'avez pas à payer des prix ridicules pour en profiter. De plus, la carte des vins était très raisonnable et nous avons apprécié un excellent Chablis millésimé avec notre plateau. Je recommande vivement, fortement!

On a passé un très bon moment, les huîtres étaient succulentes, le poisson très bon, et le dessert c'était une tuerie, et un grand merci pour l'agréable serveur qui a pris soin de nous.

Super service, personnel très sympathique, joli cadre et on a très bien mangé. Certes les prix sont un peu élevés mais on s'y retrouve dans la qualité et le professionnalisme du service.

THE freshest fish and seafood.

We were far too early for a meal but the staff were very friendly and accommodated us anyways. The food was delicious we chose the meal of the day which if there were any advice I could give here it would be trust your waiter, they know how it tastes and how to pair a wine with.
The staff were lighthearted and jokes were made.
Overall the staff and the food made the evening.

Habitué historique du lieu. Heureux que Thierry fasse appel à un autre Thierry pour l'épauler, ce qui donne 2 directeurs prochent des clients, et à la fois un véritable Maître d'Hotel qui sait recevoir comme à chaque fois. L'entrecôte de cochon est excellente et la carte des Vins d'exception. On s'y retrouve à la fois pour des repas d'affaires, en famille ou en amoureux.

Restaurant à ne pas rater, juste à côté du cabaret chez Michou a Abess. Des plats succulents et fruit de mer comme en bord de mer. Le personnel très aimable et attentif. A faire pour les parisiens et pour des personnes de passage à paris

Une très belle surprise. Nous nous sommes arrêtés pour y prendre l'apéro, attirés par les assiettes d'huitres. Et quel émerveillement pour les papilles. Bien que je ne suis en général pas un grand adepte d'huitres, je les ai dévorées tellement elle étaient délicieuses. Elles étaient d'une fraîcheur incomparable à ce que j'avais pu déguster jusqu'à présent. Et pour un prix tout à fait raisonnable par rapport à une telle qualité. J'y reviendrai sans hésitation lors de ma prochaine escapade à Paris.

Hake was not thawed properly hence still cold in the middle, explained this to the waiter who just sent it back to the kitchen without an explanation/ offer of alternative choice, let alone an apology

The only positive was the waiter with the hair in a ponytail that waved us goodbye on the way out… thank you for making an effort in this shambolic tourist trap?

Beautiful food. Fantastic chef. But the service was dreadful. One French menu between 4 people. Despite trying to catch many different waiting staffs attention, we were ignored for 45 minutes. I had moules but was not given a bowl for shells until
The end of my dinner virtually. Dessert was also poorly managed. We were all given an English menu, but after my 2 friends made an order, the waiter literally ran off. When he did return, myself amd my partner decided we were t going to order. Service improved 200% when we asked for the bill. This from start to finish took less than 2 minutes (we timed it as we were so frustrated by this point!) the chef couldn’t be faulted but I couldn’t recommend the restaurant based on our dining experience which made a really unpleasant last night to our tune in Paris.

Magnifique, fruit de mer d'une fraîcheur au top très bon service propre ne regardé surtout pas la note, il n'y a pas de prix pour cette qualité et se service allez y les yeux fermés et bonne dégustation.

Schon seit vielen Jahren besuche ich das Mascotte regelmässig bei meinen Aufenthalten in Paris. Wer bei Fisch und Meeresfrüchten auf Qualität und beste Zubereitung höchsten Wet legt ist hier genau richtig. Ein freundlicher und aufgeweckter Service sowie ein gepflegtes Ambiente unterstreichen den Gesamteindruck.
Seit Jahren wird hier auf einem absolut hohen Niveau gearbeitet.
Absolut empfehlenswert!

Très bon restaurant typiquement Français.
Escargots, moules, poulpe, frites de patates douce tout était top tout comme le service.

Attention néanmoins lors d’un repas généreux, la tarif peut vite surprendre.

A little disappointed with the service we received. They were quite busy preparing for their event/reserved table other than treating their customers rightfully. All the sounds coming from the moving benches and table were amazingly distur bing. We had oysters and mussels, they were both OK. Some dead mussels were found in it. Not sure if I would recommend to others.

Un restaurant de type brasserie avec un charme rétro dans un quartier typiquement parisien.
Il y a la possibilité de privatiser la salle au premier étage pour une trentaine de personnes ou plus.
Le personnel est très professionnel. L'accueil et le service sont assurés avec grand soin. Le menu est varié et les plats de qualité. Belle brasserie.

Petit restaurant monmartrois qui propose une cuisine de grande qualité et gourmande des plateaux de fruits de mer scculents. Des entrées allechantes, des plats généreux des vins tout aussi parfaits. Un accueil et un service irréprochables le tout dans une très bonne ambiance

Un lieu à la parisienne, où l'on retrouve la légèreté et la joyeuse gouaille préconfinement. Oui, fini l'abondance, fini la jeunesse, fini l'insouciance, fini l'allégresse. Mais à la Mascotte, on s'en toque. On chante du Dalila à tue tête au comptoir, on consume la vie, on consomme les fruits de mer, on trinque à liberté provisoire, même quelques heures, quelques instants, quelques secondes, ce sera toujours ça de pris aux grincheux!

Seafood was delicious and fresh. The Gillardeau oysters are a must try! Friendly service as well given that we were not French compared to other establishments. However, they will solicit you for a tip at the end of the meal if you’re a foreigner which is awkward and unfortunate for a place of this level.

Fabulous restaurant in Montmartre that specializes in seafood. Are here with my wife, Yelena, and we loved it. I think we ordered 2 dozen oysters, at least a dozen of the jumbo pink prawns, lobster, mussels in white wine sauce a bottle of excellent champagne and something else which I cannot remember. Terrific crowd that was lively and animated. Will definitely return. One of the better meals we had in Paris.

My partner and I are Americans visiting Paris for the first time. We got a recommendation from a local to try this place. The first night we went we were treated well, the food and service was good if not great even though we don’t speak much French. A few nights later we wanted to try takeout since their website says you can order online for takeout. We called to make sure, they said they don’t do orders over the phone so we had to come in to order. My partner went in the restaurant to place our takeout order, which they seemed a bit weird about (maybe they don’t often do takeout?). After placing the order he waited there for the food since it was unclear how long it would take. Then he noticed a group of 5 or so staff pointing and looking at him and saying “takeaway. ” When he looked over at them, the guy smiled at him. There was obviously a language barrier so we could have misunderstood parts of what was going on; however, we did not feel as though we were being treated as paying customers. My partner felt that he was being made fun of and treated like a beggar. When we finally got our food it wasn’t even what we ordered despite us pointing to the menu to order exactly what we wanted to avoid confusion. We will not be going back no matter how good the food is as it’s simply not worth it.

I visited for my friend’s birthday. Seafood was cool, french fry was soso. Generally very good. But one thing when you pay if you are foreigner, waiter could be ask directly about tips. We was surprised to ask tips in front of us.

We saw French eating here so we thought it has to be safe. Oysters are surprisingly salty, not as good as the state's. But what disappointed us was the chewy steak and a little fly came out of the french fries tin bucket. It was already there since the start. Be aware. Don't recommend.

Worst service, used to live in Paris and used to go there frequently, will never ever go back. Arrived and placed our order of seafood … 20 minutes later the supposed to be maître D’ told us simply that due to a mistake we will have to leave as he needed the table …. No option given! They really treat non French customers differently, luckily there is Brasserie La Lorraine! Excellent seafood and service, la mascotte is not worth my spit

After walking to Sacre Couer, we were craving a good plate of seafood. We walked over without a reservation and fortunately the early autumn weather was still warm enough to be outside. We ordered oyster, escargot, the Cod Teppenyaki dish and Pot of Mussels / fries. It was all delicious and I highly recommend the Mussles dish because it was extremely good value.

They fortunately had an English menu. And host and waiter were very courteous and made it easy for us to order and enjoy our meal. It’s also in a great area to walk about and enjoy the borough.
